Missed doses should be handled as follows:
If the missed dose is discovered within a short time (e.g., 2–3 hours after the scheduled time), take the missed dose immediately.
If the next scheduled dose is approaching (more than half the dosing interval has passed), skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing schedule for the next dose.
Important Note: Under no circumstances should a double dose be taken to make up for a missed dose, as this may lead to toxic reactions. If unsure how to proceed, contact a physician or pharmacist immediately.
